CDABC Award Recipients - 2007 (Presented March 2008)

Thank you to those who nominated a CDA for a CDABC award in 2007, and congratulations to the CDABC Award Recipients! Recipients were honoured at the CDABC Forum during the Pacific Dental Conference (PDC) in March 2008.

Distinguished Service Award
This award was created to recognise an active member who has given exceptional service and commitment to CDABC.

This award was created to recognise individuals who have provided special service to certified dental assisting within the province of British Columbia.

This award was created to allow colleagues, employers, or the general public to honour CDAs who make an outstanding contribution to their dental team.

This award is presented in support of local societies, to an active CDABC member who has contributed greatly and tirelessly to the performance and future of their local society.

Award of Excellence
This award is presented to a student at each of the accredited certified dental assisting programs in BC who demonstrates a high level of professionalism, ethics, and spirit of cooperation. The recipient is selected by school faculty.

2008 Awards

Certified Dental Assistant Recognition Award (2008)

Members of the dental team or public are encouraged to nominate a deserving certified dental assistant (CDA) for the CDA Recognition Award.

Recognition Award Criteria and General Award Criteria will be posted later in 2008.

The next deadline for nominations is December 15, 2008 at 4:00 pm PT.
