| Paddy Briggs is a highly
skilled small business and practice management consultant with
specialized knowledge in Human Resources Management. She is actively
involved in continuing education in both the professional and personal

| Nadean Burkett: Founded in
2003, Nadean Burkett & Associates Inc is headquartered in the
Greater Vancouver Area of British Columbia. As an independently owned
professional practice, Nadean provides career guidance and support, as
well as business & transition services to dental professionals in
private practice. With a career in dentistry spanning over 3 decades,
Nadean has supplemented her hands-on clinical (trained as a CDA) and
administrative experience with education in business administration and

Estate pre-licensing program through the UBC Faculty of Commerce and

Financial Planner and Certified Senior Advisor with her own Financial
Planning Practice. Through her own life experiences as well as 15
years in the business, Julie knows the importance of being prepared for
whatever life may throw at you. Julie is a member of Advocis - the
Financial Advisors Association of Canada. Locally Julie is a member of
the Abbotsford Valley Women's Network and Toast of the City
Toastmasters. Julie recently spoke at the Insurance Council of

Catherine Russell ( www.cathymrussell.com) is a high
energy public speaker with a light hearted and passionate approach to
issues of lifestyle and health. Drawing on 20 plus years of clinical
experience as a physiotherapist specializing in Temporomandibular
Disorder, her comprehensive treatment includes education on stress
management, craniosacral therapy, pelvic and postural imbalance

| Karen Treadgold lives
in Vancouver, B.C. She is a RDH with over 10 years of clinical
experience. Five years of those were spent in Switzerland where she
enjoyed travelling and learning a new language. Karen loves the West
Coast lifestyle. Anything outdoors: trail running, cycling and
snowshoeing. She also enjoys travelling and cooking for friends and
family. Karen is enjoying her career change in dental sales and is

 | Joanne Hovey, is a Territory
Manager for Dentsply Canada covering the lower mainland, Nanaimo and
Price George areas of British Columbia. Joanne graduated in 1981 from
George Brown College as a CDA and worked for 7 years as a clinical
assistant in the field of orthodontics and general dentistry. The past
20 years have been spent as an account manager for major companies such
as Coca-Cola, Loomis Armoured Car, and currently Dentsply Canada. With
her combined clinical background and account manager experience, Joanne
offers continuing dental education programs to various dental

Willson Leung
is Dentsply Canada’s Equipment Specialist for Western Canada. In 1993,
Willson graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto with a Bachelor of
Technology. His career experiences include the role of Account Manager
for Bayer’s Agfa Inc. and Colgate’s Hill’s Pet Nutrition, where he
provided sales consultation to veterinarians. This medical-technical
experience has led to his current role, representing Dentsply with such

Linda O’Connor has
been a Certified Dental Assistant since 1979. She has spent 20 years
in various dental offices working every position from assistant to
office manager and understands the inner workings (and hassles) of a
dental office. Needing a change, Linda decided to stay within the
dental industry and joined Henry Schein and has spent the past eight years
successfully selling dental practice management software (Dentrix) in
western Canada. Linda decided to seek a new challenge and has taken on

the BC Zone Sales Manager for Henry Schein. Victor has spent the past
11 years in the dental industry in various roles such as marketing

David Moonje was
called to BC Bar in 1992, and has since specialized in employment law
matters in whole or in part. David has written employment law
articles for the Annual Review of Law and Practice, published by
Continuing Legal Education. He has lectured on employment law matters,
has taught courses in non-employment law matters for the Professional
Legal Training Course, and advises both employers and employees on all
issues relating to the law of the workplace.

Peter P. Li has
been in the dental software technology for seven years. He has helped
many dental practices implement paperless technology and embrace modern
computer systems throughout his professional career. In addition, he
also regular gives presentation at Vancouver Community College to help
the new receptionists and hygienists to become familiar with
"paperless" offices.

Randy Hoffman
is an associate professor of management at York University in Toronto
and president of Captus Press Inc.. Through his affiliation with York
Randy Hoffman has designed and instructed Internet courses. Aided by a
background in electronics engineering. Randy has served as the
architect of Captus' online learning platform, which has provided
online learning to over 50,000 professional and post secondary learners
from numerous Canadian and American institutions. Jennifer Wong,
Captus' Web administrator will assist in the presentation.
