  • 12 continuing education credits included per membership year! Cost-effective, convenient, high-quality, very user-friendly, and designed for CDAs. • Employment research on the CDA profession in BC CDABC conducts the largest survey in BC to find out how the employment climate changes over time. We report to the membership rates of pay  based on experience, location, modules, and more. We find out how long it now takes to find a position, how many people are entering the profession, and how many are leaving, plus a lot more important information to educate the membership so that they can make informed decisions. The survey is conducted every two years.
  • Educating Future Employers Every year CDABC sends graduating dentists from UBC a guide to office personnel focused on the benefits of hiring certified dental assistants, and educate them on the benefits of retaining long-term, loyal staff. This important advocacy will guide your future employers to create a healthy office dynamic based on trust, respect, and loyalty.
  • Constantly updated job postings Take advantage of our career board, updated daily for your benefit (over 100 positions at any given time). Post your own ad to say you are available for work, which dentists can view behind a secure login. Work smart by having your employment conditions and benefits in writing, using the CDA employment contract, designed specifically for CDAs. Read articles written explicitly for your profession on negotiating a raise, and performance reviews. Learn what your peers are earning in the comprehensive, region-specific guide to CDA wages and the CDA employment climate in British Columbia.
