Serving Our Communities

Under-serviced communities--such as elders, First Nations communities, and low-income families--require access to quality, affordable dental care. The CDABC is in consultation with stakeholders to facilitate the utilisation of certified dental assistants’ training and skills in non-traditional settings as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ultimate goal is to allow CDAs to provide preventive education and services to under-serviced communities, which  will greatly benefit those communities, and offer career advancement opportunities for CDAs.

CDABC offers Active and Associate members 12 free continuing education credits with each annual membership--redeem free credits in our cutting-edge continuing education library.

The CDABC disseminates information and conducts research on behalf of CDAs to keep members informed about trends in the profession in British Columbia and Canada. CDABC is a corporate member of the Canadian Dental Assistants' Association (CDAA) which means that CDABC members have access to CDAA benefits.

With a strong and united association, you will have answers to important questions about your profession. With your membership, the CDABC can continue to work toward bettering our profession and offering quality continuing education programming at no charge to members.

The CDABC frequently conducts member surveys to learn  what the membership wants from their professional association. If there is something that you believe would be of value to CDAs in British Columbia, we want to hear from you.
