2016 CDABC Employment Survey Report Now Available

Monday, May 9, 2016

We are thrilled to announce that our 2016 Employment Survey Report is now available to all CDABC members and participants of the survey.

As our first survey since 2012, this survey was conducted online between March 15,2016 and April 17, 2016, and was designed to capture as much valuable information about employment statistics, conditions and job satisfaction among CDAs in BC as possible. We received 1,474 responses – a strong response rate of 27%. Please bear in mind that the information provided is based on the responses of these 1,474 members of the dental profession and therefore may have some limitations.

Highlights of the survey report:

  • The average hourly wage of respondents was $25.70, a small increase on 2012 results
  • 91% of respondents receive some kind of employment benefit
  • 50% of respondents said they had ‘overall satisfaction’ with their job.
