2019 National Occupational Analysis for Dental Assisting

Tuesday, December 10, 2019

Got five minutes to make a difference in your career?

If we get this classification, we’re hoping that it will result in increased compensation for our skills, and who doesn’t want that?

Currently CDAs across Canada are part of the lowest group of Health Occupations, Group 34 "Assisting Occupations in Support of Health Services".

Our goal is to increase the occupational classification of CDAs to be included with Group 32, "Technical and Skilled Occupations in Health".

To do this, we need to start being more vocal about the amount of work we do. You can achieve this by filling out the survey linked below.

Your participation in this survey is key to providing the federal government with a full picture of the work CDAs do in BC, and across Canada.
