Join us in advancing the CDA profession! We are seeking nominations for new CDABC Board members by Monday, April 13th. The CDABC Board of Directors is accountable to the membership; responsible for determining CDABC policy and budgets; and responsible for developing and monitoring the Strategic Plan.
- No previous board experience is required.
- Position manuals and mentoring are available to support directors in their duties.
- The term of office ends March 31, 2017
- Board meetings are held via telephone and may occur in the Lower Mainland on occasion
- All reasonable expenses are reimbursed, e.g. accommodation/ transportation
- Directors must have daily access to internet and email
- Directors spend approx. 4 hours monthly preparing for and participating in CDABC business.
Characteristics and qualifications:
- Active member in good standing
- Keen interest in the profession and association
- Ability to exercise good judgment, act with integrity and in good faith in CDABC's best interests
- Strong leadership skills
- Willingness to learn and commit the time to be effective
- Strong communication skills.
