Call for CDABC Board Nominations: Deadline TODAY!

Join us in advancing the CDA profession! We are seeking nominations for new CDABC Board members by Monday, April 13th. The CDABC Board of Directors is accountable to the membership; responsible for determining CDABC policy and budgets; and responsible for developing and monitoring the Strategic Plan.

  • No previous board experience is required.
  • Position manuals and mentoring are available to support directors in their duties.
  • The term of office ends March 31, 2017
  • Board meetings are held via telephone and may occur in the Lower Mainland on occasion
  • All reasonable expenses are reimbursed, e.g. accommodation/ transportation
  • Directors must have daily access to internet and email
  • Directors spend approx. 4 hours monthly preparing for and participating in CDABC business.

Characteristics and qualifications:

  • Active member in good standing
  • Keen interest in the profession and association
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, act with integrity and in good faith in CDABC's best interests
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Willingness to learn and commit the time to be effective
  • Strong communication skills.
