Exciting Plans for the Pacific Dental Conference

Thursday, March 10, 2016

Happy Dental Assistants Recognition Week! We hope you are having a great week celebrating our profession, and we especially hope you are looking forward to next week's Pacific Dental Conference! We have a lot of exciting plans lined up for our attendance at the conference this year – here are just a few of them:

CDABC Talk by Dr Peter Walford: Excellent Everyday Composites – Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 8:30 – 11:00 in VCC West – Room 211

Veteran composite study club mentor Dr. Peter Walford leads the field in BC and has worked with current CDABC President Arlene Cearns for 15 years. Together they have taught many restorative teams to deliver better composite dentistry, faster, more comfortably, more aesthetically. Dr. Walford will discuss and demonstrate the effectiveness of curing lights and how the maintenance, positioning, and type of light will affect the final cure.

If you have a cordless curing light, please bring it along to this session for testing. All those who bring a light will be entered into a draw for a $20 gift card!

Visit Us at Booth #1552!

CDABC board members and volunteers will once again be in attendance in the exhibitor hall. Visit us at booth #1552, where we will be signing up new members, helping you renew your existing membership, and chatting with CDAs about how to advance our profession. Those who sign up or renew their membership on Thursday, March 17th and Friday, March 18th will be entered into a prize draw to win back the cost of their membership! Those signing up at the booth or in our Hospitality Suite will also receive a goody bag.

We will also have opportunities to enter our gift card prize draws by taking part in our games at booth #1552 and in our Hospitality Suite at West Meeting Room 210. Enjoy some refreshments, have some fun and be in with a chance of winning!

Prizes, Prizes, Prizes!

We will be offering a number of opportunities to win $50 and $10 gift cards throughout Pacific Dental Conference week. Stay tuned for more details, coming on Monday!

Remember, if you renew or sign up for new membership on Thursday, March 17th and Friday, March 18th, whether you do it online or at the PDC, you will be in with a chance of winning back your membership fee!

We look forward to seeing you next week.
