The Chief Dental Officer of Canada has shared the following free webinar event with Canada’s national oral health organizations.
The webinar will be held on June 24, with the topic of: “Infection Prevention/Control in Dentistry, Post-Pandemic Planning” and is hosted by the New England AIDS Education and Treatment Centre. Attendees must register online.
The webinar will be given by Ms. Kathy Eklund, RDH MHP who is currently the Director of Occupational Health and Safety at The Forsyth Institute. She is also a past Chair of the Organization for Safety Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) and current member of the OSAP Board of Directors, and has been a contributing author for the CDC Guidelines for Infection Control in Dental Health Care Settings.
The webinar is presented from a United States perspective but may include relevant information applicable to the Canadian context.
