Quality Assurance Program Webinar for CDAs

Monday, May 8, 2017

The College of Dental Surgeons of BC is reaching out to certified dental assistants to hear your input on updates to the Quality Assurance program (continuing education requirements). CDAs have different requirements and competencies than dentists, and the College want to know what you think are the best ways to maintain and improve clinical skills and dental knowledge.

Join this webinar on Thursday, 25 May to share your thoughts on Quality Assurance (QA). Your input will help shape updates to the program.

The current QA program consists of two main parts: continuing education and continuous practice hours.

QA programs promote life-long learning and the continuous improvement necessary for registrants to stay current in a changing healthcare environment and to provide the best possible care for patients. The thinking around building competence has evolved since the initial program was established and the Board has directed the QA Committee to initiate work on a revised program. Learn more here.

Be a part of the early stages of this conversation. Let the College know what you think quality assurance should look like – any changes to the program will affect you.
