To celebrate Dental Assistant Recognition Week 2019 the CDAA will be holding a Special Event at the Vancouver Convention Centre, East Wing, room 8/12 on March 7, 2019. This event will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. during which dental assistants across Canada will be invited to attend at no cost.

During the event, Dr. Nita Mazurat, Dentist, Educator and Patient Safety Advocate, will speak to our attendees on Infection Standards Development, both provincial infection prevention and control guidelines/standards for the oral healthcare team and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standards. In addition, the CDAA Executive team will present on the initiatives the CDAA is pursuing and what objectives we will be working towards over the coming year. Our goal is to have 200 attendees at this inaugural event.
