UBC Orthodontic Module & Orthodontic Update Spring 2018

Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Join UBC CDE and Dr. Paul Witt for the Annual Orthodontic Module for Certified Dental Assistants and Registered Dental Hygienists. This advanced training program in orthodontics enables Certified Dental Assistants, regulated by the College of Dental Surgeons of BC, to acquire the designated expanded duties in Orthodontics. It also affords Dental Hygienists, regulated by the College of Dental Hygienists of BC, the opportunity to obtain formal advanced education in this area.

The module runs for one week with three days of lectures (May 23–25, 2018) and four days of clinic (Session A: May 26 - 30). In tandem with the full Orthodontic Module, UBC also offers an Orthodontic Module Update (May 23–25, 2018). This is a lecture-only program and is designed for those who have completed a full Orthodontic module but who recognize that practices and procedures change and evolve over the years, and would like a review.
