Please join us in welcoming new CDABC Board of Directors members Melanie Black and Tammie Barry.

Mel moved from Quebec to Vancouver in 2000. She graduated from VCC in 2011 and is the recipient of the Sunstar Preventative Dental Assisting award. She is passionate and dedicated to her profession and is excited about the growth and progression of the dental field.

Tammie has been a Certified Dental Assistant for over sixteen years. She graduated from Okanagan College, in Kelowna, BC in 2000. Tammie originally worked in general practice offices for the first 14 years of her career. In early 2014, she started transitioning into a new role as Clinical instructor at Okanagan College. Tammie is currently enrolled at Vancouver Community College, working towards completing her Provincial Instructor Diploma. She is excited to represent current and future CDAs of BC.
